Below you will find the age groupings as well as a description of the curriculum provided. Please let us know if you feel your child would be better suited in another age group. Each child’s needs are different and we want to make sure they are in a class that is best for them. Our teachers may make a suggestion also. Our goal is for children to be comfortable and excited about going to Sunday School each week.

Nursery A quiet, safe place for infant to 2.5 years old.

Preschool : Children ages 2.5-4 will be read a short Bible story and then make a craft item, followed by play time.

Elementary: K-1 and 2 nd – 6 th Workshop Rotation

Last October we introduced the workshop rotation program for elementary students and both teachers and students liked it. We decided to continue with the program for K-1 and 2-6 grades. On 9/20 we will begin workshops on Plagues and Passover. Remember, the workshop rotation program teaches the same Bible story for 4 or more Sundays using medium like cooking, crafts, games, movies, drama and computers.

7 th -12 th Bible Lessons for Youth

This curriculum applies the Bible to real-life issues that teens face in the secular world. Lesson material is presented with modern cutting-edge graphics that capture teen attention. Interesting class activities stimulate teens to conduct self-examination, think about serious issues, make value judgments, and apply Biblical principles to real-world situations.

Sunday School News
Sunday School classes will begin on Rally Day, September 12. We are very excited for the new year to begin. As in years past, we will gather for Sunday School after Children’s Time. Please fill out a registration form and let us know of any allergies.

Infant
Miss Deidre will be supervising our babies and toddlers.

Preschool
We welcome 2 new Sunday school teachers to our program, Miss Christine and Miss Kaitlyn. Miss Kristin will be returning also. They will be reading a Bible story and working on a small craft with the children each Sunday.

Elementary (K-1 and 2nd-6th)
The elementary program will start a 4 week workshop series on Abraham. Some of the fun activities planned are sand art, making pancakes, creating a decoupage and improvisation.

7th-12
The 7th-12th will use the same curriculum as in past years using real world scenarios. If your teen has a smart mobile device or can borrow one, we will send out links to our students for free Christian downloads, music, and apps and allow students to use as a Sunday School tool. We are hoping this might spark interest with the teen age group. For those who don't have a device, we will try to borrow some for class time. Rules and guidelines for limited use will be presented.
